MODULAR HYBRID (THYRISTOR SWITCHING) SAFETY COMPENSATION DEVICE

  • Traditional reactive power compensation devices are generally designed to simultaneously improve the power factor of the three phases, because the compensation capacitors are three-phase capacitors, and the controller only measures the current of one phase in the power grid, so it cannot compensate for the reactive power of each phase separately and cannot quickly track changes in the load. Therefore, for three-phase unbalanced systems, there are often situations
    of overcompensation and under compensation, which cannot provide satisfactory solutions. The safety compensation device of three-phase co compensation is only suitable for application in three-phase balanced power grids.
    The phase separation safety compensation device provides a solution for threephase unbalanced loads. In these devices, traditional controllers are replaced by 3A controllers. The controller can measure three-phase currents separately, calculate the switching capacity of each phase through optimization algorithms, and can connect three-phase or single-phase capacitors.
    Form:
    -Each compensation circuit includes:
    Fuses, FELSCR thyristor switches, FELBC single-phase capacitors, single-phase
    filter reactors;
    - power factor controller with LCD display and manual/automatic mode selection;
    - Standard distribution cabinet with controller installed on the front door;
    - Wire terminals and fans;
    - Other components requested by the customer.
